I have been a fan of Richard Marx since his heyday in the ‘80s. He has been releasing solid albums and writing songs for others throughout the years. This album is a very welcome arrow in his quiver. The album starts with “Another One Down”, a catchy melody hosting break up lyrics about a love gone to waste. An excellent start to an album which continually delivers the goods. “Limitless” and “Love Affair That Lasts Forever” follow the lead of the opener, but on the other side of the relationship ledger when true love wins. A string of mostly uptempo songs follows, finally giving way to “Not In Love”. This is one of the best melodies I have heard from Mr. Marx and my only negative for this whole album is this song should have been about being in love rather than what the title clearly articulates. There is not a bad song on this album and I have to give it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.
